The Education board Bangladesh took a great initiative to distribute free school textbooks in the form of PDF on the web. The NCTB (The National Curriculum and Textbook Board) has uploaded about 83 textbooks in PDF format on their official website (www.nctb.gov.bd). The server got down several times due to tremendous traffic which shows that eTextbooks has triggered huge interest among the students.
The site administrator recently increased their bandwidth limit up to 110 GB to support the huge incoming traffic to the website. The textbooks for Primary and Secondary education is available in both english and bangla versions. Syllabus and curriculum for both Primary (Class 1-5) and Secondary level (Class 6-10) can be found on the website.
